My grandfather Leo Moomaw was real, humble, and kind.

Leo Moomaw is Anita Waggoner's grandfather on her mother's side of the family. Anita's involvment in the bucking bull business was inspired by growing up around rodeo and watching her grandfather's rodeo bulls buck at rodeos in the Pacific Northwest as a child. The character of Grandpa Leo in the movie Freedom is inspired by the real deal, Grandpa Leo Moomaw. In many ways, the Freedom film will honor the "Bucking Horse Man".
